Agents in Recovery is a free directory and guide library for operators. It's paid for by flat-fee sponsorships from vendors that serve the field.
Audience
The site is written for owners, executive directors, clinical directors, admissions leads, billing and compliance staff, recovery coaches, peer program leaders, and sober living operators. It covers addiction treatment centers, mental health practices, recovery coaching, peer support, sober living, and family support.
We're new. We'll publish real audience numbers (subscribers, monthly visitors, open rates) once we have them, and we won't round them up.
Who can sponsor
Vendors of tools and services used by behavioral health organizations: AI products, EHR and CRM software, billing and revenue cycle services, phone and scheduling systems, security and compliance services, and similar.
We don't sell placements to treatment programs, recovery residences, or laboratories as a way to attract patients or residents.

Flat-fee placements only. We never charge per lead, referral, or admission.
By purchasing, you agree to the Terms of Use. Placements are advertising, not endorsements. Placements are sold by Coombs Ventures LLC, which operates Agents in Recovery.
Every tier is a fixed fee for a fixed term, agreed in writing before it runs. Payment is handled by Stripe.
No pay-per-lead. No pay-per-referral. No pay-per-admit.
We don't accept any payment that varies with leads, clicks to a treatment provider, referrals, admissions, or placements. Not as a bonus, not as a rev share, not as a "performance" tier.
The reason is the law. The federal Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act, 18 U.S.C. § 220, makes it a crime to pay or receive remuneration for referrals to recovery homes, clinical treatment facilities, and laboratories. This site will not be part of any referral-for-pay arrangement. Sponsors are paying to reach operators who buy software and services. They are not paying for patients.
Editorial independence
- Sponsored content is always labeled "Sponsored."
- Sponsors don't choose, write, review, or approve directory entries, guides, or risk notes.
- Directory listings are free and editorial. A sponsor can't buy a listing, a higher position, a "live product" label, or a softer risk note.
- Sponsors get no advance look at coverage and no right to remove it.
- If we write about a sponsor's product, we say so in the piece.
- We'll disclose any financial relationship between the site, its author, and a listed vendor or program.
- We can decline or end any sponsorship that conflicts with these rules.
